LAST EDITED ON Oct-01-02 AT 09:35 AM (EDT)

Just less than weeks and counting... Man time flies...

Ok, I need to know:
1. How many out of towners need rooms.
2. What can you bring to the BBQ on Saturday?
3. Will you be there Sat and/or Sun
4. Are you racing on Sat and/or Sun
5. Do you have any suggestions?

I'll try to get all of the times and prices posted today in "The List" so that you can have some better info.

Also, if anyone knows of any nice NT Administrator jobs, it looks like I'll be looking as our company just annouced we will be out of money at the end of October... DOH!!!

"The List" has been updated.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***
I have been saying that the autocross is at the Police grounds... I was WRONG!!! This year it will be at the Gulf Greyhound Park. This is south of Houston and will take 1 hour to travel to from the north side of Houston. Sorry for the confusion...

For those out of towners... I have found the cheapest price "nice" hotel around my area. If you want to stay somewhere else you can, but we will caravan from this area to the events.

The Crossland Economy Studios
150 Valley Wood Rd.
Spring, TX 77380

Single bed 1 person $39.00/per night
Single bed 2 people $44.00/per night
2 Double beds $49.00/per night
2 Queen beds $50.00/per night

I'll set up a group of rooms if this is ok... I need to know how many people will need rooms very soon to do this. Otherwise, I'll post the phone number for you to call soon and you can just have random rooms...

Mike

We'll probably bring some sort of roast....unless we can catch an alligator in the flood waters...

Would the hotel be a convenient place to meet?

A large tent to sit under if possible

I'll also be posting a list of items that you might want to bring such as:
Hat

"The List" has been updated with more information... PLEASE take the time to visit it and send me info or post it here!!! I'm all stressed out about this.

Also, I'm working on ideas of what to do in case we have a rainout on Saturday... The weather is "iffy."

What do you think about a "bracket primer" on friday night at Sealy?

For those that get into town in time.

Tiff and I MAY go to sealy for some practice.

It'd be a good time for beginners to "get a feel" for what will occur saturday.

Saturday is likely going to be "fast paced", and we'll need to have "some idea" as to who's going to run.

Those that "run" will need to have "some knowledge" {if possible} as to "how bracket racing works".

it's going to be ran "inside" a NHRA national event, so we'll need to be "on our toes" and be ready for "whatever they throw at us".

Sealy on Friday is "just a thought".... maybe even show up as a specator to "get a grasp" of how it works, for the beginners.

Trey,
I talked with Bubba and his cousin... They don't like to put kids on the Harleys so I guess we will have to wish you a safe trip to Dallas. Have fun with the kiddos, I know we come second to them.

MIKE, bad news. Body shop said car will not be ready till mid of next week bcoz State Farm being F*&KUPS, they had to send an inspector, take pics back and all that crap.

They called me and said they found some cdamage on the back fender that was done prior to me buying the car..bla bla. This pissed me of and I had to threaten to SUE. Only then they agreed to fix it but will not provide warrenty of body work at the back passenger side.

Thus Jammers (one of top body shop in houston) was pissed coz of STATE FARM crap even though they are state farm approved.

You have no idea how angry I am. I will show up later on through with my finace' in her civic or something. Sigh
