Hi guys..I wanted to share this with the rest of you as it has helped keep the door handles safer. When I was waxing the car last summer i was doing a deep detail and cleaned the inside of the doors, waxed them and treated the seals with a refreshing solution from Mother's . Afterwards I noticed when i opened either door, they really released with almost no pulling on the handle, just gliding open. I rewaxed the inside of the doors where they meet the weather strip along the top and sides, and found this to be why they open now so smoothly. I have continued this every time i clean the car and the doors when opened place so little stress on the handles now. I wanted to pass this along so to help others with maybe another way to keep the handles from breaking. Good Luck, Cheers

Great advice. I too will always suggest lubing the seals and keeping the door frame area clean of dirt/debris to our customers to help their door handles live longer.
