Did you ever find a replacement? I think my front driver's side is dying, the speedo is jumping. Seems to only happen when hot though, I'm going to try cleaning this weekend.
I've been trying to find pictures of it's placement on the vehicle but I have come up short.
Anybody have a repair manual page of this or a DIY that I haven't somehow already stumbled on? Google hasn't helped. 98 LSC

not particularly urgent......I don't understand why you can't remove the sensor from the spindle. I have replaced my front driver's side spindle, and the little sensor unbolts and feeds through the access hole in the spindle no problem. If you are referring to the round thing with teeth that the sensor (apparently) counts, that is part of the bearing assembly and is fairly well available (Checker/Kragan/O'Reilley stock).....should come out of and go back into the spindle without machining, I'd think... give blood; play hockey!
