"Brake Line distro block"

Whats up guys? In the process of replacing my passenger side front brake lines but I hit a snag. Did the rear a couple months ago. I damaged the threads on the passenger side brass block. I am searching for a replacement. But can this block be bypassed and instead use a solid piece of line or since I already made the shorter piece (which connects the block to the hose)use a union? I know there is some type of sensor attached to the block which I assume is used for brake pressure warning. It probably does not work because when my lines leaked there was no warning. Flooring the brake pedal was my warning. Please help. '98 LSC. Thanks.
