"New parts for my supercharged Mark VIII"

Got some new parts for my mark.I want to install them and get new dynotune for my beast but weather sucks lately.I can't wait until the track opens for 07 season.

Kooks headers, cobra intake manifold,3.20 RR vortech pulley ,also methanol injection should be here soon.

You will LOVE meth. Make sure the clamps are tight in the system or it will suck air in or leak out. Both resulting in almost no meth getting to your engine. All that should give you quite a boost in HP, whats your shortblock like?

With those mods and the smaller pulley, I wouldn't be suprised if you picked up 50rwhp or more. Those long tubes are going to make a huge difference and the injection are going to make a huge difference! Should be fun to watch!

I hope that's a 98 Cobra intake manifold otherwise the IMRC's are aluminum and have smaller ports compared to your stock gen 2 ones. They heatsoak a lot more easily and that makes a big difference on a blown car. I guess the methanol injection can help with that though. Personally I would put the Kooks and injection on the car first, I would love to see how fast you can make it go with the stock intake.

IDK about the smaller ports but if theyre aluminum and youre running 50/50 meth/water or windhield washer fluid than they wont heatsoak.

If not one else can answer your question or posts a picture of thier IMRCs than I will take mine to work and post a picture for you. I dont have an at home camera .

What is your shortblock like? Youre heading for a bent rod if the answer is stock. Although you may scoot by because of the meth. What mixture are you running of the meth?

I'm running stock Mark VIII IRMC's on a Cobra Manifold. They are identical other then the material. I doubt you will see much peak HP gain from the intake, but with my car it really flattened out the curve and kept it from falling off(when the car was NA) on the top end.
