"Chip question"
Tue Aug-29-06 11:36 AM by rdusel

Dennis (or anyone else familiar with Reinhart chips) How can I tell if the Reinhart chip on my car has 2 programs or 1? I read the paperwork (it was in the glove compartment) which mentioned that 2 bank chips could be switched between the 2 banks and the stock program using a switch and plug (which also was in the glove compartment so I'm assuming it is a 2 bank chip).
Will I hurt anything if I use this switch and the chip only has 1 program?
Can I add the second program if it is not there?
I'd love to get the chip completely programmed so that I can check out the differences between the two programs and stock.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Rob
